Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Hosts two Independant Hospitality Institutions

We are situated 176km from Kampala on the Gulu Highway(main route to Murchison National Park). Our turn-off from the Gulu highway is in the village Nakitoma at the two(2) life size rhino statues and can not be missed. No matter which direction you are approaching Nakitoma from, there are boards indicating our turn-off 3km ahead.
If you are travelling with public transport (bus or matatu), you are to board the Gulu bound transport at the Kampala Taxi or Bus park. Inform your driver that you wish to disembark at Nakitoma, Nakasongola District.
As Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is a protected area accomodating an endangered species we would appreciate that you plan your travels to coincide with our gate times. "We are open every day of the year"
Our main gate opens at 07H30 and closes at 18H00 for all guests
For your safety and that of the animals, no driving is allowed on the sanctuary after the gate closing time .
